Brad Bartell Joins CPJ to Lead Business Development Efforts for Fairfax Office

Charles P. Johnson & Associates, Inc. (CPJ) is pleased to announce that Brad Bartell, P.L.A. has joined the CPJ team as Senior Designer and Business Development Manager, bringing 30 years of planning, civil engineering, and survey experience to our Fairfax, Virginia office.

     

A registered landscape architect, land planner, and golf course designer, Brad has managed the entitlement process and the planning and landscape architectural design of large-scale residential communities, multi-family developments, and single-family residences. 


His portfolio includes special use development to include senior housing; hotels; regional, county, and city parks; commercial developments; school projects; medical facilities; roadway projects; green street developments; urban streetscapes; sports complexes; large warehouse projects; office parks; church campuses; and 35 new and 50 renovated golf courses.

      

Brad has previously been employed by multi-disciplinary design companies in the Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, AZ, and Savannah, GA markets, and owned and operated Indigenous Pursuits, LLC under his own management in the Northern Virginia and Maryland region. Brad has also operated Bartell Design, LLC, his golf course design business and played on the P.G.A. Tour. His experience has resulted in building successful design relationships and distinguished projects around the world from South Carolina to South Africa.

          

Brad’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science of Landscape Architecture degree from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science of Psychology degree from Michigan State University.
